The "Kazakh" has gone on its first voyage     Last year three new vessels went on their first voyage, namely the «Rossijanin», «Ukrainetz» and «Belorus». The vessels left the water area of the Onega shipyard. The owner of the vessels is the JSC «White Sea and Onega shipping company». On May 26, 2006 the deed of delivery-and-acceptance of the vessel «Kazakh» was signed by the Director General of the «Onega shipyard» and the Customer of the JSC «White Sea and Onega shipping company». After the formal ceremony of raising the flag the vessel went for shipping. The first cargo the vessel will transport is saw-timber.

On 27.06.2005 the "Belorus" left the slip following the "Rossiyanin" and the "Ukrainets"     The new dry cargo vessel was built in Petrozavodsk by the order of the OJSC «White Sea and Onega shipping company». At the ceremony of launching the cargo motor vessel «Belorus» Russia's minister of transport Igor' Levitin said that shipbuilders of Petrozavodsk in a worthy manner continue sea traditions of Peter the Great, the town's founder.

Launching the m/v "Ukrainets"     The official delegation of Ukraine headed by Valeriy Kozakov, first deputy minister of Ukraine's industrial politics, arrived at Petrozavodsk on 20th July, 2004 for negotiations with Karelia's government on co-operation in the field of shipbuilding. The «Ukrainets» was ceremonially launched on 20th July, 2004 in the presence of the Ukrainian delegation.

Launching the head vessel of the project 005RSD03 "Karelia"     The new cargo motor vessel «Rossiyanin» of the «river-sea» class was launched in Petrozavodsk to lake Onega. This motor vessel built at the Onega shipyard for the OJSC «White Sea and Onega shipping company» is the head vessel in the new batch of the vessels «Karelia»
