Modern European technologies of welding and assembling are used, such as automatic compound welding of sheets, assembling of three-dimensional sections and modules of a hull without rigging or conductors, semiautomatic welding of sections and modules in CO2-medium, welding with powder wire.
Welding of field joints of a hull is performed with a semiautomatic device with use of metal and ceramic materials (including flexible ribbons) produced by the firm ESAB. For performing field joints in a hull they use mixed welding — the combination of semiautomatic welding in CO2-medium and automatic compound welding. The quality of field joints is checked with a non-destructive method of control by the own certified laboratory of technical control.
